USI’s supplier management policy is to mitigate the risk from suppliers and ensure smooth supplier chains operation.USI has established a robust system enforces supplier quality management through remarkable core processes - AVL Management, Supplier Performance Measurement, Manufacturing Readiness Review, Non-conforming Material Management, Continue Quality Improvement, First Shipment Inspection and Incoming Control Procedure, to achieve USI's strategies both in quality & business.
Suppliers are chosen by USI if all the quality management system, green management system (GPA and Conflict Minerals) and other systems (financial, technology, delivery and CSR) meet USI’s requirements. Material first shipment confirming procedure ensures supplier ability to provide USI qualified material supplier manufacturing readiness review (MRR) makes sure suppliers are ready on production process and quality management. USI also actively assists suppliers to implement continue improvement programs to achieve KPI, enhance quality performance, save manufacturing cost, and secure delivery schedule USI’s Quarterly Vendor Rating System to rank suppliers by indices of quality, delivery, communication and price.
